Messaging Configurations

The purpose of Configurations in a business or property management context is to track, document, and manage communication with guests. These logs are valuable for both operational transparency and customer service efficiency.

In Sympl you can track Messaging Logs inside Unified Inbox Overlay under Configuration tab

Add Credit

Click on Add Credit button and it will open popup with options to choose credit from available options or add any custom amount to recharge SMS credit.

Add Credit popup looks like this as mentioned below. Click on Purchase button and credit will added successfully.

SMS Delivery Insights

SMS delivery reports are crucial for confirming whether a text message was successfully delivered to the recipient’s device. In business operations—especially in sectors like hospitality, logistics, and customer support—they play an important role in ensuring communication reliability and accountability.

This bar chart shows SMS messages which are delivery successfully or failed due to any reason inside Sympl Unified inbox.

SMS Key Metric Overview

These figures show out of 100% how many SMS are delivered successfully and how many are failed due to any reason inside Sympl Unified inbox.

Below screenshot explains about above both points.

Logs Section

Logs section shows all kind of logs related to all messages apps. You can hover on Message column and see whole message in tooltip. You can use Refresh icon mentioned in below screenshot to refresh logs without refreshing entire browser tab.

SMS Credit & Payment History

This section contains two tabs:

Credit tab

This tab covers all the credit recharges done by Sympl user for SMS credit recharge using Add Credit button.

Available: This is the total number of SMS credits available to be used by Sympl user

Used: This is the total number of SMS credits used out of the Available number of messages.

Roll over: This is the remaining balance which was carried from the previous credit recharge.

Status: Active status will be used for balance deduction. Whenever user add new credit, it will add new row and balance Available in previous credit will be added to new row's Available column. Inactive status items will not be useable.

Click on any credit row and it will open popup with sms messages sent using that credit.

Payment Tab

This tab shows all the invoices which are charged by Sympl from user's credit card using Add Credit button
